The original purpose of this forum was to provide an opportunity for readers and authors of Construction Management and Economics to engage with the development of ideas related to the journal and to the discipline. It also enabled us to post news about free downloads from the publisher’s website, latest issues as they were published, forthcoming events of interest to our readers, and anything else that people in our research community cared to ask about. In addition, we hoped that researchers at any point in their career would feel that this was a place to ask about the research and publication processes. We encouraged people to comment on published papers, summarize their reading club discussions on specific papers, and raise questions about editorial policies of any kind.
With the change in the editorial team of the journal, this blog will continue independently of the journal to fulfil many of the original purposes. I remain interested and engaged in the development of the discipline. I hope that this blog continues to be useful to those who follow it and to those looking for advice and ideas about their academic publications.
